Notes about link validity

UPDATE: I'll just keep editing the post (below) with the list of apps, so keep checking it (scroll to bottom of list for new files, changes in url will just appear where the app is in the list currently with no notifications for now).

So if you're the type to check back often, go for it, just make sure you look in the right place (bottom of list for new files).

Not all links are tested, and those that are may not be reliable. If you provide me with updated links for any software listed I will update this information page accordingly.

Also, if you provide me with new software information that is unibin or intel native I will publish the details on here. I’m currently working on categorizing the list so please be patient – in the meantime, if you can wade through this page you’ll find lots of great intel native osx software!

Software that works natively on osx86

All the apple software that comes with OSX intel 10.4.3 is native and/or unibin. This is a good start to get the most speed from your osx86 install. For example, iphoto and itunes versions that come with 10.4.3 (8f1111) are unibin/intel versions respectively. Even though the version number may be the same as the downloadable itunes and purchasable iphoto products, don't "upgrade" or replace your already installed versions with any other versions unless they say unibin or intel on them. Why? because you'll probably be replacing your native versions with ppc only versions and will suffer from slowdowns and other issues as a result.
